예수님의 고향사람이 됩시다.

마가복음 6장 4-6절

“예수께서 그들에게 말씀 하셨다. 예언자는 자기 고향, 자기 친척, 자기가 어려서 놀던 길목에서는 별로 존경을 받지 못하는 법이다. 예수께서는 거기서 많은 일을 행하실수 없었다. 몇몇 병자들에게 손을 얹어 고쳐주신것이 전부였다. 그들의 완고함을 예수께서도 어찌할수 없었다. 그래서 예수께서는 그곳을 떠나, 다른 마을을 다니시며 가르치셨다.”

요한복음 4장 43-45절

“이틀후에 예수께서 갈릴리로 떠나셨다. 예수께서는 예언자가 자기가 자란곳에서는 존경받지 못한다는 것을 경험으로 잘 알고 계셨다. 예수께서 갈릴리에 도착하셨을때, 갈릴리 사람들이 그분을 반겼다. 그러나 그것은 그들이 유월절 기간동안 예수께서 예루살렘에서 행하신 일에 감동을 받았기 때문이지, 그분이 누구시며 장차 무슨일을 하시려는 지 정말로 알랐기 때문은 아니었다. “



완고함과 편견으로 예수님을 대한 갈릴리 사람들

갈릴리에서 자란 예수님은 사역을 하시면서, 가장 덜 사람들에게 환영을 받았던 곳, 놀라운 치유의, 말씀 선포의 사역을 하신곳이 갈릴리 지방이었다.

이것은 예수님의 문제가 아니였다.

예수님을 받아드리는 갈릴리 지방 사람들의 문제였다.

그들의 문제는

(1) 예수님의 사역 시작 이전의 모습을 잊지 못하고, 똑같은 이로 생각을 하였고, 자신들이 생각하는 그 잣대로, 그 경험으로 예수님을 보고, 편견을 갖은 것이다.

이로 인해서, 예수 그리스도의 금의 환향에도, 이들은 완고함으로 그분을 대하였다.

Galilians who welcomed Jesus with stubborn hearts and prejudice.

The district of Galilee was quite interesting town. It is one of the least respected town, and Jesus grew up there. They must have known Jesus more than other towners, but Jesus was able to perform least number of miracles in the town. He was least welcome. Knowing what Galilee is known (almost like South Oxhey.) we think that they would be very happy to see him. But no. they had a problem.

(1) They had a prejudice, they did not differentiate Jesus before and after formal beginning of his ministry, and saw Jesus based on their experience, and with their own yardstick.

They were obstinate about it, and did not see Jesus otherwise.
예수를 자랑스러워 했지만, 단순히 그 사건으로만 자랑스러워 했지, 그 안의 의미를 깊게 생각하지 못했다.

요한 복음에, 그들이 예수살렘에서 한 일에 대해서 감동을 받았다 하였다. 단순히, 성전에서 상을 뒤집어 엎고, 제사장들의 권위에 도전하였다는 부분, 그 단순 사실에만, 자랑스러워 한것이다. 메스컴을 왜 탔는지, 왜 그리 해야 했는지 모르고, 단순히 메스컴을 탔다는 사실에 좋아하는 모습니다. (요한복음 2장 13-25절)

Some of them were proud of Jesus, but not because of what he was teaching, but just because he stood up to the authority of temple.

Just before, he cleaned up the mess in the field of temple, and healed many during Passover festive period.

They did not think why... he did it , or what he taught.
또한, 요한복음 말씀에는 예수님을 환영을 했지만, 그분에 대해서 진정으로 이해하고, 그분의 사역을 이해해서 환영한것은 아니라고 한다.

크리스마스

크리스마스는 모든 사람들이 기뻐하고, 즐거워 하고, 환영하고 있는 시간들이다. 휴가 기간이고, 선물도 받는다, 하지만, 얼마나 많은 사람들이 진정한 의미를 알고 있는가?

단순히, 부수적인 것 때문에, 환영하고 좋아하고 celebrate하는 것이 더 많음을 본다.

진정으로 오신 그분이 누구신지, 또한 오셔서 무슨 놀라운 사역을 진행하셨는지, 진정으로 알고 있는 자들은 많지 않은듯 하다.

Christmas

Everyone rejoices and celebrate Christmas. It is public holiday, we receive nice gifts, and people have lovely time together, but so often people have lose their focus on the meaning of Christmas.

Is it time to appreciate the love within family, yes.

Is it time to appreciate the friendship with friends? Yes.

But they are secondary – the product of something more important.

We are so used to having Christmas. We know carols,

우리가 갈릴리 사람?
우리가 갈릴리 사람처럼, 진정한 의미를 생각하지 못하고, 편견과, 익숙함으로 대하고는 있지 않는지?



특히, 이 오전에, 전부 모태신앙자들인데, 우리에게도 주는 메세지가 있다.



어떻게 보면, 우리가 예수님의 고향사람들과 같다. 그분을 알고, 그분이 하신일을 알고 있다. 우리는 몇십년동안, 크리스마스를 기념해왔는데, 그분에 대해서 익숙해져있다.



우리를 살리기 위해서, 오신 주님을 기념하는데, 우리는 이 갈릴리 사람들과 같이, 완고함으로 강퍅함으로, 또한 편견을 가지고 예수님을 대하며, 이 날을 우리의 맘데로 대하고 있지는 않은가 점검을 해봐야 한다.



Are we like Galileans?



We need to look into our hearts, and see if we are trully celebrating the Christmas for its true meaning? Are we like Galileans? Celebrating as we are used to it,,,, we think we know Jesus in and out,, we have been celebrating this day from our birth?



As a Christian, we are almost like Jesus's home town people. We know him, we know what he has done. I hope that we are not approaching Jesus as Galileeans did. - Not without stubborn heart, prejudice, or false sense of pride.



예수 그리스도,



죽을수 밖에 없었던, 우리를 살리시고, 어둠가운데 있던 우리에게 빛을 주시고, 장님이었던 우리의 눈을 뜨게 하시고,



(요 1:9) 참 빛 곧 세상에 와서 각 사람에게 비추는 빛이 있었나니 (요 1:10) 그가 세상에 계셨으며 세상은 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으되 세상이 그를 알지 못하였고 (요 1:11) 3)자기 땅에 오매 자기 백성이 영접하지 아니하였으나 (요 1:12) 영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니 (요 1:13) 이는 혈통으로나 육정으로나 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하고 오직 하나님께로부터 난 자들이니라 (요 1:14) 말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매 우리가 그의 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생자의 영광이요 은혜와 4)진리가 충만하더라





우리는 요한복음 1장 11절이 아닌,

1장 12절처럼 되야 한다. We live with his power, as sons of God.



Jesus Christ our saviour



He came to earth to save us who were destined to death,

He gave us light when we were in darkness

He gave us sight, when we were blind.



Let's read John.



Let's celebrate each day, for the light and right to live as sons of God. Let's us truly remember the true meaning of Christmas and let's welcome his love, and grace to our heart wholehearted.



우리는, 예수님의 고향사람이 됩시다. 그분을 알고, 그분을 이해하고, 그분이 어떠한 일을 하신것을 알고, 그분의 모든일에 마땅한 찬양을 드립시다.



Let's be his home folks, knowing who he is, understand him, support him, represent him and most of all glorify him for what he has done, and is doing in our lives as well as in the World he created.
